London---Rev. and Mrs. Taniguchi’s Public Lecture
On August 7 a Public Lecture was held at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in London under the theme, “Praying for Grand Harmony Between God, Nature and Man.” Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie; and Mrs. Junko Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie White Dove Association, gave lectures to about 150 attendees.
Germany---The Seicho-No-Ie 2011 Germany Special Conference for World Peace
From July 30-31 at the Martim Hotel Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany, the Seicho-No-Ie 2011 Germany Special Conference for World Peace guided by President of Seicho-No-Ie, Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi; and President of Seicho-No-Ie White Dove Association, Mrs. Junko Taniguchi, was held. This was the first time for the Special Conference for World Peace to be held in Europe.
Japan---Uji Hozo Shrine Urabon Memorial Service
The 56th Hozo Shrine Urabon Memorial Service was solemnly held from August 17 to 19 at the Seicho-No-Ie Uji Temple in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. On August 19, the Hozo Shrine Main Festival, the Seirei Shokon Shrine Festival, the Memorial Tower for Neglected Souls of Aborted Children Throughout Japan Festival and the Suekazu Inari Shrine Festival were held
Republic of China---Missionary Headquarters Acquires ISO14001 Certification
On August 16, the Republic of China Missionary Headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan acquired ISO14001 certification.The certification covers the entire building of the Republic of China Missionary Headquarters, workshops and other events held there and publication activities.
Brazil---National Conventions
In Brazil, the National Conventions were held on July 18 and 24. A total of 11,176 people attended and studied the Truth. On July 18 the 24th Seicho-No-Ie Brazil National Convention (Japanese) was held at the Anihembi International Convention Center.
Brazil---Amazonia Spiritual Training Center Completed
On May 27 the Amazonia Spiritual Training Center was completed at Benavides City, Para State that is the downstream of the Amazon River. A ceremony was held to celebrate it. This is the fifth Spiritual Training Center in Brazil.
Hong Kong---Two New Readers’ Meeting Sites Started
In Hong Kong, Readers Meetings were held from June 3 to 8 at six locations, including Tung Lo Wan Bay. Rev. Mamoru Amachi (Assistant Minister, Asia, Europe and Oceania Section, International Department), who can guide directly in Chinese, was dispatched from the International Headquarters as a lecturer.
