Japan---Hozo Shrine Urabon Memorial Festival

The 55th Hozo Shrine Urabon Memorial Festival was solemnly held from August 17 to 19 at the Seicho-No-Ie Uji Temple in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. On August 19, the Hozo Shrine Main Festival, the Seirei Shokon Shrine Festival, the Memorial Tower for Neglected Souls of Aborted Children Throughout Japan Festival and the Suekazu Inari Shrine Festival were held. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie, served as the Chief Priest.

Brazil---Youth and Young Adult Association National Convention

On July 25, the 55th Seicho-No-Ie Brazil Youth and Young Adult Association National Convention was held at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The number of attendees was 8,323. Held under the theme, “Let’s Live Truth, Goodness and Beauty,” the Convention’s objective was that the attendees actively express truth, goodness and beauty in their daily lives and propagate the teachings to friends and acquaintances.

The 24th Seicho-No-Ie Brazil National Convention (Japanese language) was held on July 18 at the Anihembi International Convention Center. The number of attendees was 2,452. Japan---Portuguese-Language Spiritual Training Seminar

The 15th Seicho-No-Ie Portuguese-Language Spiritual Training Seminar was held at the Headquarters (Tobitakyu) Spiritual Training Center in Chofu City, Tokyo under the sponsorship of the Seicho-No-Ie Headquarters. The number of attendees was 222, which was an increase of 51 people over the previous time. The attendees were mainly those residing in the prefectures in and around the Kanto District. They were originally from Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Japan.

Germany---Europe Spiritual Training Seminar

The 26th Seicho-No-Ie Europe Spiritual Training Seminar was held from July 23 to 25 at a youth hostel in Stuttgart, Germany. The number of participants was 28, including four newcomers. The breakdown of the participants by place of residence was 21 for Germany, 3 for Austria, 1 for France, 1 for Switzerland, 1 for Sweden, and 1 for Japan.
