The 81st Seicho-No-Ie Founding Day Celebration/Ceremony to Commemorate Seicho-No-Ie Presidency Succession was held from 10:00 a.m. on March 1 at the Seicho-No-Ie Headquarters in Harajuku, Tokyo. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie, gave a 26-minute address in his capacity as the Superintendent.
On March 21, the spring equinox day, the Spring Memorial Service for Deceased Distinguished Propagators was held at the Headquarters. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie, served as the Chief Priest. Mrs. Junko Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie White Dove Association, was also present.
The Brazil Youth and Young Adult Association Leaders’ Workshop was held from mid-January to early February at the five spiritual training centers in Brazil. In Hong Kong, Readers’ Meetings were held from January 14 to 16 at four locations, including the home of a follower on Kowloon Island. The number of the attendees totaled 34, including 5 newcomers. In the past, the Readers’ Meeting guided by the lecturer from the International Headquarters used to be held at only one location.
