On January 1, 2010, the New Year’s Celebration was held at the Seicho-No-Ie Headquarters in Harajuku, Tokyo. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie, addressed 487 attendees for about 20 minutes in the capacity of the Superintendent.
Seicho-No-Ie has recently purchased land (approx. 70,000 square meters) at Aza Ishido Nishi-Ide, Oizumi-Cho, Hokuto City in the northern part of Yamanashi Prefecture, which will be the site to construct the “Office in the Forest.”
On December 23 of last year, the Seicho-No-Ie Brazil Missionary Headquarters in Sao Paulo acquired the ISO14001 certification, an international environment management standard.
From mid-October to early November of last year, a Leaders’ Workshop (English) and a Truth Realization Seminar (English) were held in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada.
