Southern California---Leaders' Workshop and Public Lecture
The Southern California Missionary Area’s Leaders’ Workshop (Japanese and English) was held on September 26 at the United States Missionary Headquarters in Gardena, California and was attended by 30 people.
Northern California---Leaders' Workshop and Public Lecture
The Northern California Missionary Area’s Leaders’ Workshop (Japanese and English) and Public Lecture (English) were held from October 3 to 4 at the Seicho-No-Ie Northern California Center in San Jose, California.
REPUBLIC OF CHINA---NATIONAL LEADERS’ WORKSHOP
The Fourth Republic of China National Leaders’ Workshop was held from October 17 to 18, 2009 in Nantou, the Republic of China (Taiwan). The number of attendees was 84.
Hong Kong---Readers' Meeting and Parent' Study Class
In Hong Kong, four events were held on Kowloon from September 11 to 13: Chinese-language Readers’ Meeting, Japanese-language Readers’ Meeting, Parents’ Study Class and Sunday Readers’ Meeting.
Brazil---World’s Eco-Life
The Brazil Missionary Headquarters began garbage separation in 2004 so that the garbage from regular work and events could be recycled. In the corridors and each department/section there are garbage cans in five colors .
