The Seicho-No-Ie Presidency Succession Ceremony, and the Inauguration of the New President and the 80th Seicho-No-Ie Founding Day Celebration were held on March 1 at the worship hall of the Seicho-No-Ie Main Temple in Nagasaki Prefecture and were attended by about 2,300 people.
At the Seicho-No-Ie Delegates Conference held on February 28, Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, Acting President of Seicho-No-Ie, gave an address for 26 minutes from 11:12 a.m.
On February 27, the Burial Service for the Late Holy Master Rev. Seicho Taniguchi was held at the Taniguchi Family Monument at the Seicho-No-Ie Main Temple in the presence of Rev. and Mrs. Masanobu Taniguchi.
On March 20, the spring equinox day, the Spring Memorial Service for Deceased Distinguished Propagators was held at the Headquarters. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi served as the Chief Priest.
From January 21 to 25, the Latin America Delegates Workshop (Spanish) was held at the South American Spiritual Training Center in Ibiuna, Sao Paulo. Thirty-three delegates from Central and South America and southern Europe attended.
In Sydney, Australia, a Seicho-No-Ie Readers’ Meeting (Japanese) was held on January 11 at the Vibe North Sydney Hotel.
