Japan---Memorial Service for Rev. Seicho Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie
On December 17, 2008, 50 days after his death, the Memorial Service for the Late Rev. Seicho Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie, was held in the worship hall of the Tobitakyu Spiritual Training Center in Chofu City, Tokyo. It was a cold and rainy winter day.

It has been decided that effective March 1, the day of the Seicho-No-Ie Presidency Succession Ceremony, Mrs. Emiko Taniguchi, President of the White Dove Association, will transfer the White Dove Association Presidency to Mrs. Junko Taniguchi, Vice President of the Association.
Southern California---Public Lecture Meeting and Leaders' Workshop
A public lecture meeting (Japanese and English) was held on September 28, 2008 at the Japan America Theatre in Los Angeles, California. A Southern California Leaders’ Workshop (Japanese and English) was held on October 12 at the United States Missionary Headquarters.
Northern California---Leaders' Workshop and Public Lecture Meeting
At the Northern California Seicho-No-Ie Center in San Jose, California, a Leaders’ Workshop (Japanese and English) was held on October 25, 2008 and a public lecture meeting (English) was held on October 26.
Republic of China---National Leaders' Workshop Attracts 101 People
The Third Republic of China National Leaders’ Workhop was held from November 15 to 16 of last year at the Riyuetan Youth Center in Nantau. The number of attendees was 101.
