Japan---VP's Address at Spring Memorial Service

On March 1 the Vice President of Seicho-No-Ie, Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, spoke for 20 minutes, beginning at 10:45, at the 79th Seicho-No-Ie Founding Day Celebration that was held at the hall of the Seicho-No-Ie Headquarters. Rev. Taniguchi spoke in the capacity of the superintendent.

Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, Vice President of Seicho-No-Ie, gave an address for 31 minutes from 11:20 a.m. at the Seicho-No-Ie Delegates Conference held on February 29.

Japan---Spring Memorial Service

On March 20, spring equinox day, the Spring Memorial Service for Deceased Distinguished Propagators was held at the International Headquarters in Harajuku, Tokyo. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, Vice President of Seicho-No-Ie, served as the Chief Priest. Mrs. Junko Taniguchi, Vice President of the White Dove Association, was also present. The souls of 243 people, who dedicated their lives to the Seicho-No-Ie Movement, were newly memorialized.

Brazil---School Personnel Devotional STS

In Brazil, a School Personnel Devotional Labor Spiritual Training Seminar sponsored by the School Personnel Section of the Lecturers’ Department was held at the South American Spiritual Training Center in Ibiuna, Sao Paulo from January 9 to 13. The number of participants was 368, including 67 first-timers.

Brazil---Internet Truth Study Class in Latin America

The first Truth Study Class via Internet (Spanish) was held on February 8 and 9, connecting the Brazil Missionary Headquarters and nine Latin American countries, where Spanish is the major language spoken. The attendees studied the Truth, looking at pictures on the PC.

Brazil---Rev. Murakami, Vice Bishop of Latin America

“My father was very strict with me. He always guided me, ‘Man is a child of God, so you must always be No. 1.’ If I was in second place, I had to expect one hour of preaching from him. Every year I participated in the Seicho-No-Ie speech contest, which was held for children between the ages of 5 and 10. My father gave me a voice practice session every day.
