Japan---28th-Year Memorial Service for Rev. Masaharu Taniguchi
The 28th-Year Memorial Service for Rev. Masaharu Taniguchi was held on June 17 at the Taniguchi Family Monument at the Seicho-No-Ie Main Temple in Nagasaki Prefecture. The President of Seicho-No-Ie, Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, addressed 479 attendees.
Brazil---Brazil Hozo Shrine Festival
In Brazil, the 57th Brazil Hozo Shrine Memorial Festival and the 29th Memorial Service at the Neglected Souls of Aborted Children of Ibero American Countries and Angola Memorial Tower were held from April 13 to 14 at the Brazil Hozo Shrine in Ibiuna, Sao Paulo.
Europe---Leaders’ Workshop
The 23rd Europe Leaders’ Workshop was held from March 22 to 24 at a youth hostel in Mainz, Germany. Forty-four leaders from across Europe attended the Workshop. The breakdown of the attendees by country of residence was 19 for Germany,
Republic of Korea---Leaders’ Workshop
The 23rd Republic of Korea Leaders’ Workshop was held on March 10 at the Kwang Myong Hoy Hall in Daegu. The number of attendees was 30. The Workshop was held with the objective of giving the leaders an opportunity to study the Truth and gain a common awareness.
Australia---Readers’ Meeting Held in Sydney
In Sydney, Australia, a Readers’ Meeting (English) was held on March 16 at the Vibe North Sydney Hotel and was attended by 10 people, including three newcomers. The attendees’ breakdown by nationality was 4 Brazilians, 4 Japanese and 2 Australians.
