Japan---Spring Memorial Service

On March 21, the Spring Memorial Service for Deceased Distinguished Propagators was held at the Seicho-No-Ie Headquarters in Harajuku, Tokyo. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie, served as the Chief Priest.


Japan---Seicho-No-Ie Founding Day Celebration

The 82nd Seicho-No-Ie Founding Day Celebration/Ceremony to Commemorate Seicho-No-Ie Presidency Succession was held from 10:00 a.m. on March 1 at the Seicho-No-Ie Headquarters in Harajuku, Tokyo.


Japan---Great Earthquake of Eastern Japan – Prayers and Donations for the Victims

The Great Earthquake of Eastern Japan (magnitude: 9.0) of March 11 did massive damage to the Tohoku Region of Japan. From the next day, Seicho-No-Ie posted on its official homepage the information about the damage sustained by the Missionary Areas in Hokkaido, Tohoku and Kanto Regions.


Brazil---Truth Realization Seminar for Happy Children

In Brazil, a “Truth Realization Seminar for Happy Children” was held at five Spiritual Training Centers from February 9 to 20. The number of attendees totaled 1,103, including 392 first-timers.


Columbia---Broadcast of Seicho-No-Ie Television Program Begun

In Columbia, the airing of Seicho-No-Ie’s television program started on February 17 on a commercial television channel, CNC. It is the first broadcast in a Spanish-speaking country. It can be viewed in Palmira, Calca (population; about 350,000).


Germany---Seicho-No-Ie Germany Holds A Tree Planting Session

On February 27, five members of the Seicho-No-Ie corporation, Seicho-No-Ie Freundeskreis in Deutchland e.V., had a tree planting session in Frankfurt, Hessen, Germany. It was covered by a local newspaper and attracted people’s attention.
