Spring Memorial Service Solemnly Held

On March 21, the spring equinox day, the Spring Memorial Service for Deceased Distinguished Propagators was held at the Headquarters. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie, served as the Chief Priest. Mrs. Junko Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie White Dove Association, was also present. The souls of 141 people, who dedicated their lives to the Seicho-No-Ie Movement, were newly memorialized.

In his message, Rev. Taniguchi taught that the Seicho-No-Ie song, “Kami to tomoni Ikuru Uta” (Song of Living with God) teaches that man is one with everything through God. He urged the attendees to carry forward the faith passed from the forerunners in such a way that it bears flowers in their talented areas and promote the Movement with diversity. The Memorial Service was attended by 329 people, including Seicho-No-Ie Missionary councilors and the bereaved families. The number of the souls memorialized since the founding of Seicho-No-Ie totals 11,822.
