The 24th-Year Memorial Service for Rev. Masaharu Taniguchi was held on June 17 at the Taniguchi Family Monument at the Seicho-No-Ie Main Temple in Nagasaki Prefecture. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, President of Seicho-No-Ie, addressed the 743 attendees.
In Brazil, the 53rd Brazil Hozo Shrine Festival and the 25th Memorial Service for the Neglected Souls of Aborted Children were held from April 4 to 5 at the Brazil Hozo Shrine in Ibiuna, Sao Paulo. The number of soul registers installed was 2,706,978, which was an increase of 211,447(8.5%) from last year and a record.
The 19th Europe Leaders’ Workshop was held from March 20 to 22 at a youth hostel in Neustatt in Germany. It was attended by 50 people from eight countries, which was an increase of 14 people from the previous year.
In Hong Kong, a Leaders’ Workshop was held from March 7 to 8 at the meeting place of Seicho-No-Ie Readers’ Meeting, Inc. (Representative: Mrs. Machiko Kwok) in Kowloon. A total of 19 people attended the two-day event.
In Japan, the number of people who carry a “My Bottle” seems to be increasing. In Taipei, many people already carry a “My Bottle.” The members who come to the Taipei Missionary Center always bring a “My Bottle,” which contains water or tea.
