Japan---Three National Events
On May 1, the First Seicho-No-Ie White Dove Association National Leaders’ Seminar was held at three sites: the main site was the Omiya Sonic City Hall in Saitama City; and sub-sites were the Uji Temple and Fukuoka Missionary Center.
Japan---The 21st Year Memorial Service for Mrs. Teruko Taniguchi
The 21st-Year Memorial Service for Mrs. Teruko Taniguchi was held on April 24 at the Taniguchi Family Monument at the Seicho-No-Ie Main Temple in Nagasaki Prefecture.
Japan---Youth and Young Adult Association National Convention
Ms. Vanessa Sugahara, a Brazilian living in Japan and a Holy Mission Fellowship member, brought to the Youth and Young Adult Association National Convention four classmates from the school for the deaf.
The Republic of China---WORLD’S ECO LIFE
Garbage bags in Taipei are not cheap. For example, in Japan, a 30 liter bag costs about 10 yen. In Taipei, a 33-liter bag costs 43 yen. The reason why they are so expensive is that they include the City’s garbage processing cost.
