On January 1, 2009, a New Year’s Celebration was held at the Seicho-No-Ie Headquarters in Harajuku, Tokyo. Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, Acting President of Seicho-No-Ie, gave a New Year’s Message to 455 attendees in the capacity of Superintendent.
In New York, a Leader’s Workshop and a public lecture meeting were held at the Seicho-No-Ie New York Center from October 18 to 19, 2008. The number of attendees totaled 133.
In Canada, from mid-October to early November a Leaders’ Workshop (English), a Truth Study Class (Japanese), and a One-Day Truth Realization Seminar (English) were held in Vancouver and Toronto.
At the meeting place/office of the Seicho-No-Ie Hong Kong Holy Missionary Association, Ltd. (Representative: Mrs. Machiko Kwok) on Kowloon in Hong Kong, four events were held from November 21 to 23: a Readers’ Meeting, a Parents Study Class, a Readers’ Meeting for Leaders
