Mrs. Junko Taniguchi to become President of the White Dove Association
Effective March 1, 2009, the Day of Seicho-No-Ie Presidency Succession Ceremony
It has been decided that effective March 1, the day of the Seicho-No-Ie Presidency Succession Ceremony, Mrs. Emiko Taniguchi, President of the White Dove Association, will transfer the White Dove Association Presidency to Mrs. Junko Taniguchi, Vice President of the Association.
Mrs. Emiko Taniguchi became the Vice President of the White Dove Association in 1969. In 1985, she succeeded the Presidency of the Association from Mrs. Teruko Taniguchi. Since then she has guided the White Dove Association for almost 23 years.
Mrs. Junko Taniguchi became the Vice President of the White Dove Association in 1992, and from the following year she guided the National Conventions every year. Since 2003 she has been guiding the Public Lecture together with Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi, Acting President of Seicho-No-Ie. She also personally guided the National Leaders’ Workshops of the White Dove Association from 1997-2002 and 2006 to the present time.
In addition, Mrs. Junko Taniguchi provides guidance by contributing articles every month to Shirohato (White Dove) and Riso Sekai (Ideal World), magazines for the general readership.
