24TH EUROPE SPIRITUAL TRAINING SEMINAR

Study of The Truth of Infinite Ability and Principle of Prosperity

The 24th Europe Spiritual Training Seminar was held from July11 to 13 at a youth hostel in Bad Kissingen in central Germany. A total of 38 people from Germany, Austria, France and Sweden participated.

The Seminar was guided by Rev. Sinji Takahashi (Ordained Minister, a Director of Seicho-No-Ie Brazil Missionary Headquarters) and Rev. Yuji Otsuka (Ordained Minister stationed in Europe). They used, as their texts, Hibi no Inori (Daily Prayers) by Rev. Masanobu Taniguchi and German translations of Seimei no Jisso (Truth of Life), Volumes 1 and 21 by Rev. Masaharu Taniguchi. They lectured with German interpretation.

Rev. Takahashi gave five lectures, including “What Is Seicho-No-Ie’s Philosophy of the Reality of the God-Created World?” and “Infinite Ability Dwelling Within You.” Introducing many cases in Brazil, where people were healed of their illnesses and their financial difficulties were resolved, he talked about the truth that man is a child of God and has infinite ability as well as the importance of ancestor memorial service and the sundial way of life.

Rev. Otsuka gave three lectures, including “To Live a Bright and Rich Life” and “Selfless Prayer and the Realization of Divine Healing.” He also guided the Mind Purification Ceremony and Ancestor Memorial Service. Rev. Otsuka talked about the importance of gratitude and reconciliation and the principle of prosperity, while showing pictures on the screen.

The Seminar program also included a group discussion on the theme: “What Is the Purpose of Life?” and a Q&A session, Shinsokan for Mutual Prayer, and reports of Readers’ Meetings in different parts of Europe.

Comments received from the participants included: “I was able to deepen my sense of oneness with God”; and “I was impressed with the atmosphere of love, dedication and openness that filled the hall. My heart was purified.”

Rev. Otsuka remarked:

“Rev. Takahashi’s lectures included many actual cases of healing and the participants were deeply moved. I would like to provide better support for the promotion and management of events in order to increase the number of participants in the future.”

Rev. Takahashi observed:

“This was my first time to lecture through an interpreter. It was a good experience. Since Europe has many countries and is very diverse in culture and language, it is not easy to promote the Movement there. I would like to help in the future, too.”
